We cannot even begin to tell you how much fun we had photographing Sarah and Paul. Two of the most genuine and lovely people – they are such a pleasure to know. Both are avid Cincinnati Reds fans, so we visited Great American Ball Park. Sarah wore Paul’s childhood Cincinnati Reds jacket. It was perfect.

This family is pure delight. Jack talked about his lost tooth and tooth fairy money. Devin shared his birthday party wishes and what they wanted to be for Halloween. The boys told knock knock jokes (hilarious) and doted on their baby sister. Seeing these images, I’m reminded how important it is for families to be captured. Now, in this moment. Because these moments are fleeting and pass all too quickly. I’m so thankful for them and their joy.

In February we welcomed Elizabeth Lynn into the world—Our Betty. From the moment we laid eyes on her, we were in love.

Megan is always the first one you turn to when you want advice. Or to just laugh. She’s loyal, thoughtful, funny and sincere—our cherished ‘Nana.’ And now our sweet sister has found the man of her dreams. The one to hold her, love her, laugh with her—The ONE. And he is wonderful.

Together, Megan and Sean are fun-loving, generous spirits. He brings out her spunk and her sweetness. And she makes him smile like no one else. One can imagine them old and gray, laughing and enjoying life together.

We love them dearly and are so happy they’ve found happiness together.

Lindsay and Johann have known each other since high school. He pursued her, then in college, she pursued him. Finally, God’s timing was perfect and they became the closest of friends, and eventually, the sweetest of couples. Their wedding was timeless and pure. A garden ceremony with lush florals, intimate family and friends, and meaningful vows. The Laurel Court provided the perfect backdrop to their elegant and chic affair. They are each other’s treasure.

Melissa and Nick are the very definition of thoughtfulness and sincerity. The moment you meet them, you feel comfortable and welcome. They were married at the Church of the Incarnation in Melissa’s hometown of Centerville, Ohio. The reception was held at Dayton Carillon Historical Park. The place is enchanting and the a beautiful setting to display a bit of Dayton heritage. It was windy and a bit cold, but it further emphasized the love between these two. They held each other close and giggled through the wind gusts. It’s easy to see they are meant to be together.

This family is special. Appreciating the little moments in life, they know what’s important and true. There is so much love shared between the three of them. It is a blessing to see Elle grow into such a happy and bright 2 year old (see here and here). You can’t help but fall in love with her.

Danielle and Ryan were engaged over chinese fortune cookies. Danielle’s fortune read: “Danielle, will you marry me?” In retelling the story, Danielle got tears in her eyes and pulled out the fortune from her purse. It was a moment they’ll never forget.

Laughter and fun and silliness. Family happiness personified. I’m so happy to have spent some time getting to know Andrea, Rocky, Kevin and Damian. Beautiful people inside and out, it was an honor to capture them in these precious moments.

Caitlin and Nathan had an intimate and sweet wedding in their hometown of Dayton, Ohio. So much laughter and love is shared between these two and their family and friends. There is no doubt they are completely meant for each other.
